Proposal to give Bradley Wiggins the Freedom of Westminster

We have put down the following motion for the next Council Meeting on Wednesday 23rd January to honour Bradley Wiggins who lived at Dibdin House, Maida Vale and attended St Augustine’s School;

“That the City Council agrees that Bradley Wiggins CBE be made an Honorary Freeman of the City of Westminster in recognition of his achievement of being the first Briton to win the Tour de France; for winning four Gold Medals at the Athens, Beijing and London Olympic Games, and for being an inspirational sporting role model for young people in Westminster and across the world”

We hope that this motion will command the unanimous support of the entire Council
