Westminster Foodbank and details of free or low cost breakfasts and lunches

Westminster Foodbank

There is currently a Foodbank at Westminster Chapel, Buckingham Gate, SW1E 6BS – 0207 834 1731. It is open on Mondays from 2pm-4pm and Thursdays from 11am-1pm.

In order to receive food the person must be referred with a voucher by an organisation which is authorised to issue the vouchers such as Citizens Advice Bureau, Westminster Society, City West Homes, Mind.

Any individual, couple or family resident in Westminster who cannot afford food and have access to cooking facilities is eligible for 3 days’ worth of emergency non-perishable food.

Free or low-cost breakfasts and lunches

• Father Michael Hollings Centre (round the corner from St Mary of the Angels Church Moorhouse Road), Sutherland Place, W2 – Free breakfast from 7.30am to 10.00am daily except Saturday – no children allowed
• St Luke’s Church, Fernhead Road, W9 – Breakfast on Thursdays 10.00-12.00 – £2.00
• United Reform Church, Harrow Road, W10, Corner of Third Avenue and Harrow Road – Free lunch Wednesdays served between 12.15pm -1.00pm
• St Peters Church, Elgin Avenue, W9, Corner of Chippenham Road – Breakfast on Thursdays from 10.00am -12.00pm – £2.00; Saturday 3 course lunch 12.00 – 2.00pm – £2.00
