Nik Slingsby discovers new Portland Place ‘lake’ and takes action to put things right

Nik Slingsby, Labour’s Candidate in the Marylebone High Street by election on 2nd May, has called on Westminster Council and Thames Water to fix the drains at the corner of Portland Place and New Cavendish Street. Nik discovered the new Portland Place ‘lake’ on his travels around the ward on Saturday, meeting local residents and identifying problems that need to be fixed.

Nik Slingsby said;

“This is just one of the problems that I found on my way round the ward. As your local Councillor I would keep my eyes open for problems that need to be fixed. Looking after Marylebone residents and the local environment would be my top priority”
