Nik Slingsby has welcomed the appointment of Kathryn Pugh as the new Headteacher of St Marylebone School for Girls to succeed Elizabeth Phillips when she retires at the end of 2013.

A Cambridge graduate with a first class honours degree in English, Miss Pugh has been at St. Marylebone School since 2005, first as an English teacher and learning co-ordinator and since 2008 as an Assistant Headteacher. Prior to joining the School she had experience in the world of business and in the developing world, as well as in teaching.

Nik Slingsby said;

“Elizabeth Phillips has transformed St Marylebone School in to one of the best schools in London and she will be a very hard act to follow. Kathryn Pugh’s appointment is a well-deserved promotion for an exceptional teacher and we wish her and the School every success.”

Promoted by Paul Dimoldenberg of 44 Manor House, Marylebone Road, NW1 5NP on behalf of Nik Slingsby of 1 Harrowby Court, Harrowby Street, W1
