Public Meeting arranged on the proposed Jubilee and Moberly Sports Centre redevelopment plans

A public meeting about the proposed Moberly/Jubilee sports centres redevelopment has been arranged for Thursday 16th January 2014, between 6-8pm, at the Beethoven Centre, Third Avenue, London W10 4JL (near 174 Third Avenue).

Karen Buck MP for Westminster North and the local Councillors for Queen’s Park and Harrow Road Wards will be there to hear residents comments.

Representatives from Westminster City Council Planning Section and the Sports and Leisure Team have been invited to explain the proposals and to answer questions, as well as Councillor Steve Summers, Cabinet Member for Sports and Leisure.

Developers Willmott Dixon, Architects Levitt Bernstein and the project Transport Consultants have also been invited to explain the technical points.

Although the official closing date for comments is 15th January, residents’ comments about the proposals will be accepted up to the the day of the Planning Committee – which is some months away. This will apply to both Westminster and Brent Councils.
